Soft Grunge | OOTD

This is what I wore today for college.
This sweater is so cozy and kept me warm. Paired with a ripped jeans, it went straight from cute to edgy. To boost up the edginess I wore my biker boots.
I tied my hair up in a pony tail to keep it chic. And for this look no-accessory was the best accessory.

Sporty Chic | Outfit

This post was long due and I just totally forgot to post it. I think this post has been saved in my draft from September and it is now that I am finally posting it.

Anyway moving on, let's talk about the look. So, the story begins with my love-at-first-sight moment with this dress from Max India. As soon as I laid my eyes on it, I knew I had to buy it. Luckily enough it fitted me like a dream (which usually never happens as my extremely skinny body demands alterations in all the clothes that I buy).

And I knew right away that I wanted to create a sporty look with this dress. I teamed it up with a pair of white sneakers (they are the one's I used to wear for my school), a brown and tan backpack, a pair of glasses and a two braid hairstyle.

A woof tail

Today my pet Thunder would have turned 10. Sadly he passed away in July this year. How much I miss him, is all together a different story. He was a part of my childhood and has been with me as far as I can recall. I would have been a different person if he wouldn't have been with me.

Back then in 2008

I recently got this tattoo in his memory as he will be the one closest to my heart, forever.

I never really knew how to live without a dog so I had to get a pet. It was only 10 days earlier when we were finally ready to adopt one.

Blaze is a pure breed German Shepard. He was born on 9th November 2015 and was adopted by us on 4th December.

He is very energetic and had us running from the moment he stepped in the house. He is chewing on everything that he finds be it a laptop chargers or buckets. One member has to look after him all the time. He gets aggressive when he is stopped and is very hard to deal with.

He loves me a lot, sure thing !!

We still haven't adjusted but we will ...... soon !!
I may appear excessively happy in this last picture but those who know me well know that this picture doesn't do justice to the actual amount of my happiness.

Deep Water | Makeup Look

This trend has entered at the same time as a whole host of darker lip shades are being embraced on the AW15 catwalk. A raft of new aquatic lip colors are making their way to a make-up counter near you – will you be brave enough to try them?

Here is the look I created incorporating the blue lips.

I started with applying a soft brownish plum eyeshadow on the crease area. Then I lined my eyes using a silver glitter eyeliner which merges with the blue glitter eyeliner towards the ends. I used rhinestones to glam up the look.

And then it was time to color my lips blue and BAM !!!

This is how the whole look turned out.

Diwali 2015

Deepawali or Diwali is certainly the biggest and the brightest of all Hindu festivals. It's the festival of lights (deep = light and avali = a row i.e., a row of lights) that's marked by four days of celebration, which literally illumines the country with its brilliance, and dazzles all with its joy.

I wanted to wear something colourful for this Diwali, so I went out looking for the perfect fabric to match my idea. Finally I stumbled upon this fabric and I instantly knew that this was the one.
I kept the design same as that of the one in wore in Khajuraho because the silhouette really suited my figure.

For the makeup, I went bold this time and did a gold glitter look. I coated my eyes with a glitter eye-shadow and blended it out with black and toped it with a double winged eyeliner. Two coats of mascara and voila, eyes done. I applied a bright coral on my lips which complemented the gold on my eyes, followed by a blusher, bronzer and a highlighter. That was all for my face.

I hope you guys liked the pictures and the outfit that I designed.
Lastly here is a video of me requesting to say no to crackers. I have celebrated cracker-free Diwali for last 2-3 years and it is as fun as any other festival.

That's all. I am outta here. LOL !!

Makeup Looks for Halloween

Straddling the line between fall and winter, plenty and paucity, life and death, Halloween is a time of celebration and superstition.
And I am going all cray-cray because tomorrow is Halloween.
I did two Halloween looks last year but could do only 1 this year because of never-ending college assignments.
So here is an overview of all the three looks that are easy and can be anyone's last minute looks.

1. THE TANGLED WITCH

This has to be hands down my favorite makeup look. You can find the breakdown of this look here
