Halloween Makeup Series - 1

With Halloween just 2 weeks away, everyone is collecting up the resources for the prepration.
So here I am with some easy makeup ideas that will surely make you stand out on that scary night.

First comes the easiest of all. I name this 'The Tangled Witch' look.
The Tangled Witch

Requirements : Eyeliner (black or any dark color), Red lipstick, Foundation, Bronzer, Comb.

I have used Maybelline Lasting Drama Eyeliner (Black), Maybelline 14hr Lipstick (Continuous Cranberry), Revlon Touch & Glow Moisturizing Makeup (Ivory) and Maybelline Dream Mousse Bronzer (Glistening Sun).

Let's get started.

Start with a clean face.
1. Clean your face and slap on some moisturizer.
2. Put on your foundation and blend it.
3. Next, cover your eyelid with an eyeliner or eye-shadow. I used a gel eyeliner.
4. Contur your cheeks, forehead and jawline using the bronzer.
5. Now all you have to do is draw lines in different directions around the eye.
6. To add to the dramatic effect, use coloured eye lens like yellow, red, white etc.
7. Back comb your hair to add volume and mess and you are good to go.

This is the final look.

You can definately use a foundation which is one or two shades lighter than your original skin tone for this look if you are going it wear for the halloween party. But since I did it only for a photoshot, I used my normal foundation and decided to edit the pics later on.

If you are doing this makeup for a photoshot then dont forget to add ghostly effects afterwards to enhance the pics.

That's it for this look. I hope you found it simple and interesting. Have fun recreating it and share the pics if you do so.  More looks are on there way, so stay connected. Till then, Bye.

Jewellery Haul (Sale at Globus)

This time of the year is all about sale. Every store is putting up their ‘Sale’ boards.

Yesterday I went to Phoenix Mall, Lucknow, and found that Globus is up with their ‘Up to 50% off’ sale. This sale is for 3 days, yesterday, today and tomorrow. Do take a look if you get time.

I usually stock up some of the accessories to gift to my friends. And Globus has a nice collection of jewellery.

All the clothes that were on sale were really ridiculous and I thought nothing was worth buying. So I went to their accessories section expecting I will get some nice stuff there. Well the jewellery section was up to my expectations.

I came back with 2 necklaces, 2 earrings, 1 bracelet and 1 tag.

1.    Necklaces: The crystal necklace was for Rs299 with 50% off and the coin chain necklace was for Rs499 with 30% off.

Coin Chain Necklace (Rs350)
2.    Earrings: Both the earrings were for Rs299 with 30% off.
Black Earrings (Rs210)
Cream Earrings (Rs210)
3.    Bracelet: These were awesome finds at just Rs129 with 50%. I actually got these because I am very skinny and it is hard for me to find bangles that fit me. And these fit perfectly.

Metallic Bracelet (Rs65)
4.    Name tag: This is actually a luggage tag but because of the caption, I thought it will be perfect for my pet, Thunder. It was for Rs100 with 50% off.
Tag (Rs50)
I am really happy with all the accessories i bought. These sales are great for buying gifts for your family and friends without burning a hole in your pocket.
